The suspension bridge is made from two tall towers holding the bridge with cable, chain, or rope. The towers hold all the tension and sends it straight into the Earth. The cable is like the truss bridges through design where it holds the bridge from above. Some of the old made suspension bridges were held together by twisted grass, but didnt hold for very long.
